President George W. Bush lifted the executive prohibition against coastal drilling. It means reversing a policy that his own father put in place in 1990. Those who understand these things say that this does not solve problems neither on short or long term. Especially as the congress seemingly will not let it happen.
Once upon a time in a small northern country far away from there there was a president who was quoted to say … Something should be done… but he didn’t say who should do it or what should be done and then nothing was done. At least here the big guys do something all the time, like first blocking solar developments and then reversing the moratorium.
