Dozens of Finnish IT startups have taken the road of Silicon Valley since the dot-com boom. The entrepreneurs tell about their experiences and learnings in a book published in May. “The Silicon Valley Journey” is free and downloadable in pdf format. Although the book depicts the experiences of about 40 Finnish companies, the challenges remain the same for small companies coming outside the US: how to establish the presence in the US, how to do marketing, succeed in sales, find funding, recruit right people, etc. The book is written in English.
